2013Environmental consulting
We launch our first line of business: consulting in environmental engineering and protection, with environmental studies and technical documentation, including the documentation needed to obtain environmental permits. It is the foundation for everything that followed: an in-depth knowledge of the legal and technical requirements our clients face.
2016Producer responsibility transfer organisation
Towards the end of 2015 we launch our second line of business, and from 2016 we become an organisation authorised to take over producers' responsibility for meeting packaging-waste recycling and recovery targets. We thus move from advising clients to taking on their obligations directly.
2017Waste collection
We launch our third line of business: waste collection and management.
2018PET recycling
We add a fourth line of business, recycling, by taking over a PET recycling capacity in Hunedoara. The group now covers the last link of the chain too: turning PET packaging waste into secondary raw material.
2019PRO licence
With the new legal framework, we go from a responsibility transfer organisation to a producer responsibility organisation (PRO).
2022Glass recycling
We extend recycling from PET to glass by taking over production assets in the south of Bucharest, later relocated to Buftea. FEPRA is now present in every link of the chain: taking over responsibility, collection and recycling.
2023Circular-economy park in Buftea
We acquire an industrial platform in Buftea, Ilfov County, where we lay the foundations of a circular-economy park. Today the site hosts waste collection and sorting, glass recycling, pallet repair and recycling, and textile-waste sorting.
2025Industrial park in Brad and employee ownership
We lay the foundations of an industrial park in Brad, where we are developing new PET and glass recycling units. The investment strengthens FEPRA's presence in the Brad–Hunedoara area and increases recycling capacity. Also in 2025 we announced the programme through which employees become shareholders of the group.
We are a 100% Romanian-owned group with four lines of business - environmental consulting, extended producer responsibility, collection and recycling - that cover the essential stages of packaging-waste management and close the circular-economy loop. We are now focused on consolidating these activities and on our role in the community.
