The PRO operating licence
FEPRA EPR S.A. is licensed by the Ministry of Environment as an organisation implementing extended producer responsibility obligations for packaging (a PRO, in Romanian OIREP), under operating licence no. 10 of 10 June 2019, approved every year based on the targets achieved. The previous licence covered 2016–2019.

Certified management systems
Quality, environment and occupational health and safety, certified by an independent body. The certified scope includes the PRO activity and the recycling plants in Brad and Buftea. Global Innovation Solution, the consulting division, is certified ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

RecyClass Module A1 ↗
The PET recycling line in Brad is RecyClass Module A1 certified (Food Contact Pre-Processing), in line with EN 15343:2007: sorting, washing and drying are audited as pre-processing for material intended for food contact.

The cullet produced in Buftea and Brad holds a certificate of conformity with Regulation (EU) No 1179/2012: colour-sorted glass cullet is legally classified as raw material, not waste.

Batches of certified material are kept separate, with no mixing with uncertified material, from the collection point to the delivered product. This is the chain-of-custody model required by the RecyClass certification.

Assessments and registrations
EcoVadis Silver
FEPRA EPR is assessed by EcoVadis, with a Silver rating: in the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide for their sustainability practices. A rating clients can use in their own supplier assessments.
Annual external audit
The figures reported as a PRO, the quantities taken over and the proof of recycling, are checked every year by an independent external auditor, beyond AFM's inspections.

The Global Innovation Solution team is registered in the National Register of Environmental Protection Study Authors and holds the authorisations required for environmental documentation.
