From first contact to first report, in six steps.
No trips, no digital signature and no legal department needed. You fill in a form, sign the contract from your phone or computer, and the client relations team walks you step by step to your first declaration. Below, exactly what happens and what you have to do.

Before anything else
Make sure you are registered with AFM
Your environmental obligation is administered in your company's account on the AFM-online portal of the Environmental Fund Administration, where you file the monthly declaration. Registration with AFM is done once, by filing the first declaration, and it is step zero, before the contract with any PRO. The account can be created with a digital certificate or with a username and password.

The six steps
What happens, step by step

You fill in the sign-up form
It takes a few minutes: the company details, the person signing the contract (there can be two signatories) and the signatories' e-mail addresses.

You receive the contract by e-mail
We prepare the contract with the fees valid in the current year, the same until December, and send it to you through PandaDoc. You can read it at leisure and sign when you are ready.

You sign electronically, in three steps
Open the link in the e-mail, click the signature fields (your name appears automatically) and press "Finish". It works from your phone and you need no digital signature or qualified certificate. See the three steps

The client relations team contacts you
After signing, a colleague from the client relations team sends you the next steps and your login details for FEPRA 2.0. The same people answer you for the whole duration of the contract.

You classify your packaging
If needed, the client relations team helps you classify correctly the packaging you place on the market, by material and by type (primary, secondary, tertiary). You enter the annual estimate in the platform. This is the step that makes the monthly declarations correct from the start. Packaging types

You make your first monthly report
Between the 1st and the 20th of the following month, you enter in FEPRA 2.0 the quantities placed on the market. The platform checks them, and with the validated data you file the declaration with AFM (Annex 3), from your company's account. From here on, it is the monthly routine: a few minutes.

You need no digital signature, certificate or token. The electronic signature in PandaDoc is sufficient for the responsibility transfer contract.
Packaging types
What packaging you declare: primary, secondary, tertiary
Any packaging placed on the market falls into one of three types. It matters when declaring, because each type is declared separately, by the material it is made of. The type also sets the fee stream: primary packaging falls under municipal waste, secondary and tertiary under industrial/commercial waste, the two columns of the fee table.

Materials: paper and cardboard · plastic (PET, PE, PP and others) · glass · metal (steel, aluminium) · wood · composites.
Returnable packaging (crates, reusable pallets, deposit bottles) is declared separately, as reusable.
Important: the official classification of a packaging item is given by AFM. If you have an unclear case, ask the client relations team before declaring, or use the definitions in the AFM guide.

Monthly reporting
What a month with FEPRA looks like
- 1 · You receive your login detailsfor FEPRA 2.0, from the client relations team. The account is available at any time, 24/7.
- 2 · You enter the quantitiesby material and packaging type, any time between the 1st and the 20th of the month. A few minutes.
- 3 · The platform checks and validatesYou immediately see Annex 3 and the filing instructions.
- 4 · You file the declaration with AFMfrom your company's account, by the 25th. The documents stay in the platform, for any inspection.
What the contract includes
What we take over from you, under contract
Transfer of the legal obligation
We take over the recycling and recovery targets set by law for your packaging quantities.
Collection and recycling, funded and documented
We route packaging waste to authorised sorting and recycling facilities, through our partner network and our own plants.
Reporting to the authorities
We centralise the quantities and report to AFM and the Ministry of Environment, on your behalf, whatever falls to the PRO.
Support with declaring
The client relations team helps you declare correctly and tells you when the legislation changes.
Compliance documents
Annex 3, proof of recycling, traceability and the CO2 certificate, available in the platform.

About signing up
From when am I covered?
From the date the contract is signed. Quantities placed on the market before that date remain your responsibility or that of the previous PRO.
Do I need a digital signature?
Not for the contract with FEPRA. For the AFM-online account, the portal accepts an account with a digital certificate or with a username and password; the AFM guide explains both options.
What documents do I need?
The company details (name, tax ID, registered office), the contact person and the AFM registration. The rest we fill in together.
I do not know my packaging quantities. Can I sign?
Yes. You start with an estimate, and the client relations team helps you correct it in the first months of reporting.
